Bright orange, bold shades of blue, and beautiful browns – this week’s celebrity beauty looks encompassed all the must-have makeup hues, and then some. But which one has inspired you to switch up your everyday look? Vote in our poll, below.
Various tones of beige and brown made for the perfect makeup combination on Allison Williams this week. Patrick Ta created a sultry, smoky eye with a range of brown shades (which results in a softer effect compared to black) before adding a touch of bronze to her cheeks and a slick of beige lipstick – the perfect nighttime look for any occasion.
We’re not sure what we love more: Olivia Wilde’s gorgeous floral gown by Jonathan Cohen or her dramatically defined eyes. Makeup artist Hung Vanngo created a Cleopatra-inspired look using an intense black kohl along her upper and lower lash lines, emphasizing that piercing stare of hers.
Vanngo also worked his makeup magic on Emily Ratajkowski this week, dubbing the look “modern 70s vibes”. It was all about peachy tones and golden gleams across her eyes, skin, and lips. Love.
It’s hardly surprising that actress Zoey Deutch opted for a coral cat-eye at the Golden Globes afterparty – it is this year’s color of the year, after all. Her stunning look was rounded off with brushed-up brows, nude lips, and a subtle pop of blush.
In the words of makeup artist Fiona Stiles, this look on Lily Collins was all about “electric teal and milk chocolate eyes, burnt rose lips, and petal pink cheeks”. But it wasn’t just her beautiful makeup that caught our attention – we loved that elaborate twisted updo created by Gregory Russell.
