Every so often, a perfume comes along that smells so good and is housed in a bottle so beautiful that we can’t decide if we want to apply it or display it as art. But let’s be honest: that’s not the worst problem to have. And speaking of such scents, legendary perfume house Goutal has just launched a limited-edition version of its best-selling ‘Eau d’Hadrien’ fragrance in collaboration with the greatest glassblowers in Murano, Italy, Venini. Famed for its distinct style and glass colors, Venini has been creating coveted glassworks since 1921 using traditional techniques that are passed on from generation from generation.
The enchanting ‘Eau d’Hadrien’ is bursting with a beautiful blend of Sicilian lemon, bergamot, and ylang-ylang, all of which come together to transport one to the rolling hills of Tuscany with just a spritz. And now that it resides in a stunning Murano glass bottle, it deserves pride of place on any vanity table. With only two bottles available to buy in the region, and only 60 worldwide, our advice would be to act fast. But if you aren’t lucky enough to get your hands on one, this video – shared exclusively with Savoir Flair – offers a behind-the-scenes look into how the beautiful bottle was made.
