If you’re stumped on what makeup look to rock for an upcoming dinner date or swanky soirée, this week’s best celebrity beauty looks might just come in handy. We saw everything from slicks of silver to classic smoky eyes, along with a few red lips thrown in for good measure. Discover our five favorites, below, and vote for the one you’d want to try first.
We’re wild for Wilde this week, thanks to her gorgeous makeup look created by Hung Vanngo. Using the Marc Jacobs Beauty ‘See-quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow in Copperazzi’ and ‘Eye-Conic Eyeshadow Palette in Scandalust’, he created a dazzling metallic eye that made her green eyes pop. Skin was kept simple and lips nude to ensure all eyes were on her sparkly stare.
With locks as luscious as hers, model Izabel Goulart doesn’t need to do much to stand out from the crowd. Teaming bouncy waves with a subtly defined eye and bright-red statement lip, she kept things simple on the Valentino FROW.
If anyone can pull off space-age silver eye makeup and a red lip, it’s Lady Gaga. “The look was futuristic, old Hollywood glam. I took elements from a classic look and amped it up with glitter and metallics,” explains Sarah Tonno, Global Artistry Ambassador for Marc Jacobs Beauty. Her top tip is to up the intensity by wetting your brush before applying shadow and to “add a sequin or crystal to the center for extra shine in the camera”.
Three words came to mind when we saw Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s latest beauty look: highlighter on fleek. Makeup artist Nikki Wolff created a gorgeous, glowing base before adding subtle shimmer to her eyes and brushing up her brows for a simple but stunning combination. The elegant updo, courtesy of Jen Atkin, made for the ultimate finishing touch.
Dazzling in her bejeweled Zuhair Murad gown in Monte Carlo this week, Alessandra Ambrosio stole the spotlight on the red carpet with her sultry, smoky eye. And the secret behind that flawless skin? The ‘Celestial Black Diamond Serum’ by 111Skin. You’re welcome.
