From perfecting products by pop princesses to the first foray into beauty by one of the world’s biggest fashion e-tailers, these are the three makeup launches you need to know – and buy – right now.
If you’ve ever wanted to look like Rihanna or nail her beauty look (who hasn’t?), then you’re going to be very excited about the launch of her new makeup line Fenty Beauty. Now officially in Sephora stores, it’s all about creating the “Fenty Face” – think: mega-watt highlighters, perfecting primers, a super lightweight matte foundation, high-shine shimmer sticks, and glossy lip lacquers that load up your pout with pure, popstar-worthy pigment.
The collection is basically Rihanna in a makeup line and we predict it will sell out fast, so get to a Sephora outlet asap. It’s also 100 percent cruelty free, and there’s an impressive array of shades to take the work, work, work, work, work, work out of getting a flawless face. ASOS Face + Body
Now is the time to clear out those old products and make some space in your beauty bags because ASOS has just announced that it’s launching its very own cosmetics line, and it looks amazing. Face + Body will boast 23 products and offer everything from matte lipsticks to contouring palettes, and highlighting sticks to metallic eyeliners – all in on-trend millennial pink packaging, of course. And what’s even better is that everything will be under AED 55/SAR 56. The only bad news? We have to wait until September 20th for it to go live. Let the countdown begin.
MAC x Nicki Minaj
Following on from her first lipstick collaboration with MAC – which was all about pink pouts – Nicki Minaj is back with a big, beautiful bang in the form of nude lip colors. Taking to Instagram to reveal that she’s working on a “big surprise announcement with MAC” and with MAC saying there are “more surprises to come”, the word on the street is that Minaj will be making some pretty major makeup news in early 2018. But, for now, her two new lipsticks (‘Nicki’s Nude’ and ‘The Pinkprint’) are keeping us – and our smiles – very happy.
