We’re always on the hunt for hot new fragrances and niche beauty products so, when we heard that fashion designer and former model Anine Bing had turned her skills to the art of scent, we knew it was going to be something pretty special. And it is.
Introducing ‘Savage Rose’, a brand new perfume oil that had us hooked from the first whiff. A romantic olfactory ode to the rose and its perfume prowess, the oil sees Bulgarian rose mixed with luscious white roses to capture the essence of a forgotten rose garden in full bloom.
The addition of rich notes of musk and black pepper creates an ambiguous blend of spice and succulence, resulting in a lavish and radiant fragrance. “Rose is such a meaningful scent to me for so many reasons, and I also just love it. I wanted it to feel less precious than rose can be sometimes, so I mixed it with some more masculine notes to make it super unique and versatile,” Bing exclusively told Savoir Flair.
“Rose is a very familiar scent for me. Some of my earliest memories are of me running around my grandmother’s rose garden in Scandinavia, where I’m from. It’s my favorite smell in the whole world, apart from babies,” she reveals. “I’ve always loved fragrance, and it’s been a dream of mine for years to create my own signature scent. I love mixing different perfumes, and I’ve mixed my own over the years – I’ve even blended men’s and women’s together! That’s why it felt like a really natural next step for me.”
