Regional personality and TV presenter Diala Makki took to Instagram today to make a seriously major announcement – she’s launching lashes. Teasing a quick video of the lash boxes, she revealed that the launch is imminent. Here’s what else we know so far…

1

Makki has collaborated with Ishimmer and award-winning artist Nadine Kanso.

That means you can expect top-quality lashes in super-cool packaging.
2

The lashes are unbelievably light.

They have been designed to accentuate your peepers and still let your inner beauty shine through.
3

Makki’s number one priority was to focus on the lash weight.

This is why Ishimmer was the perfect brand to work with. It specializes in using top-quality materials and creating the lightest lashes, plus the likes of Gigi Hadid, Jourdan Dunn, and Candice Swanepoel are all fans. Enough said.
4

There are two types of lashes in Makki’s line.

'Lash 1' is a full strip of 3D mink lashes, which has been designed to provide fullness to the outer edges of the eye for that flirty, cat-eye look. 'Lash 2' are half-cut mink lashes designed for you to have fun and customize them however you want. They can be placed in the middle of your lashes or at the outer corners – there are no rules!
5

They’re made of both human and 100 percent cruelty-free mink hair.

6

They can be worn together.

This is what makes Makki's creations so cool. Because the lashes are so light, you can wear the 'Lash 2' on top of the 'Lash 1' to create a more dramatic look – perfect for taking your look from day to night in under a minute!
7

The lashes can be worn up to 18 times.

And they won't change their shape or lose their curve – provided you look after them, of course!
8

The lashes are hypoallergenic, contain no dyes, and are fully sterilized.

So, not only are they totally safe, but they won’t aggravate sensitive eyes either.
9

They’ll hit stores in September.
