Two words that sum up Martha Hunt? Blonde bombshell. The Victoria’s Secret Angel has walked the runway for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Givenchy, and Balmain, and – of course – she’s famed for donning a pair of #VSAngel wings.
Here, Savoir Flair chats to the supermodel to find out just how she gets that honed, toned body.
What’s your favorite workout?
I really love training at The Dogpound in New York City. The trainers have added weights to my workouts and it makes me feel really strong. I have never felt stronger than I do right now!
Were you always naturally athletic or is it something you’ve had to learn?
I would say it is something that I have picked up over time. I liked to dance when I was younger, but working out to maintain my body for modeling has broadened my variety of workouts.
What’s your favorite piece from the ‘Victoria’s Secret Sport’ collection?
I love all of the workout pants because they are so comfortable. I also love the ‘Double-V Sport Bra’ – it’s sexy and gives you support at the same time!
How do you get yourself off the couch when you’re lacking motivation?
It’s easy for me because I’ve really been focusing on the runway lately. I know that everyone is going to see me walk at the Victoria’s Secret show so that motivates me! The first ten minutes before your workout are always the hardest part, but after you’re done you feel so much better and have a huge boost of energy. I try to look forward to that energy boost and the stress release as motivation to work out.
Track pants or workout leggings?
Oh, definitely workout leggings.
Yoga or Pilates?
I can’t choose between them… I would have to say both!
Dead or alive – who would your dream workout partner be?
My dream workout partner would have to be Beyoncé. Who wouldn’t want to work out with Beyoncé?!
What’s the biggest fitness myth you’ve ever heard?
That diet doesn’t matter as long as you’re working out. You have to have a good balance
