If you want to branch out from your usual beauty look this weekend, Savoir Flair is here to help. We scoured the Instagram accounts of our favorite celebrities and supermodels to discover three of the best beauty looks from this past week. From sparkly smiles to makeup that would be perfect for a pool party, your weekend makeup inspiration starts here.
Cool-Girl Glam
Sofia Richie
Celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta perfected the cool-girl look on Sofia Richie with this combination of matte-brown lips, bronze contouring, a fierce highlight, and naturally groomed brows. To make her eyes look bigger and brighter, Ta used one of the best beauty tricks in the book – applying white kohl along the lower waterline. He also placed a touch of highlighter in the tear ducts to further accentuate her eyes. That, combined with subtle falsies and mascara on the lower lashes, made for stunning peepers. Add a slight wet look to your hair to channel Richie’s style at a pool party this weekend.
Sparkly Smiles
Irina Shayk
From Pat McGrath’s sell-out sparkly lip kit to the glittery lips at Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2017 show in Milan, it’s safe to say that sparkles aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. But if you’re not brave enough to venture toward Sparkle Central, there is still a way to incorporate glitter into your beauty routine. Rocking the trend in a subtler way, Irina Shayk stunned with this glittery smirk while keeping her skin and eyes natural – all she used was a shimmery lip color and a touch of golden glitter to line her lips. Try this look for a night out with the girls.
Loud Lashes
Doutzen Kroes
When it comes to getting loud lashes, you don’t have to reach for the falsies to get a fabulous effect. In fact, there’s a way to add a cool edge to your look, and that’s simply by using your mascara to create a slightly clumpy effect, giving you the “spider-lash look” that we’ve seen on runways, season after season, in the past few years. Supermodel Doutzen Kroes nailed it with this look, which saw thickly lined eyes framed perfectly by loud lashes. All you need to do is build up your mascara (go for as many layers as you like) until you achieve the desired effect.
