As part of this campaign, Bloomingdale’s has created four unique beauty looks tailored to four different types of women in Dubai. From the DIFC-based working woman to the girl you can always find chilling by the pool, these unique characters come with four completely different makeup styles that you can create at home. Savoir Flair turned to beauty mogul Mona Kattan, the star of Bloomingdale’s Fall 2016 ‘A City Like No Other’ campaign, for her top tips and product recommendations for each look.

Your proverbial “little black book” is bursting at the seams with company dinners in DIFC, launches, social commitments – and that gala you have to attend tonight. You are a glam girl on the go and have the routine down to a T. “As a ‘Downtown Doll’, you have to be very versatile and ready to transform on the go,” says Kattan. “Always carry two or three shades of lipstick to help you take your look from office chic to date night to out with the girls in seconds.”

You love all things vintage and iconic, and traditional, tailored cuts and less saturated colors are more your style. “Channel your inner Grace Kelly and remember that ‘Retro Realness’ is all about the perfect lip, eyeliner, and brow,” advises Kattan.
To get the look, Mona recommends the Yves Saint Laurent ‘Rouge Pur Couture in no. 218’ to give you that attention-grabbing red lip, Giorgio Armani’s ‘Runway F/W16-17 Palette’ to add definition to your eyes, and the Lancôme ‘Grandiôse Liner’ to help you master cat eyes.
You are a free-spririted, laid-back beauty who has her chakras well aligned – an old soul living out the contemporary woman’s lifestyle. “Invoke the ‘I woke up like this’ aura. Focus on flawless skin and moisturized lips and, of course, keep the drama in your lashes,” says Kattan.
