What’s your favorite workout in Dubai?
For a high-intensity way to burn calories, I absolutely love the ‘BURN’ class at 1six8. The instructors are amazing; they really get to know you and push you hard. The class is a mixture of cardio and strength-interval training on the treadmill, rower, bench, and TRX bands. Each day focuses on a different body section – lower body, upper body, and midsection. It’s definitely the most effective workout I’ve done for fat loss and muscle toning, combined.

What are three things we’ll always find in your fridge?
Avocado, butternut squash, and almond milk. I sometimes make my own nut milk but usually buy the one by Rude Health. It’s definitely the best brand, and the milk is free of any added nasties and preservatives.

What’s your go-to cheat meal?
The next cheat meal I have planned is a breakfast almond croissant. This is my ultimate indulgence! I can’t remember the last time I had one but I always lust after them at bakery counters in cafés. I plan on treating myself soon after a big ‘BURN’ 1six8 session!

What’s your favorite workout in Dubai?
Since joining GuavaPass, I’ve actually switched from normal gym workouts to experiencing lots of different classes. My favorites are FlyWheel and Core Fit in the Dubai Marina area, which means I can mix up cardio with weights and get the best of both worlds!

What are three things we’ll always find in your fridge?
Eggs, berries, and spinach. They’re really versatile – I tend to use eggs and spinach on most days for different meals. Berries are my go-to snack because they’re low in sugar and packed full of antioxidants. They’re great for when I want something sweet!

What’s your go-to cheat meal?
I don’t do “cheat days” because I find opting for balance a lot easier and more enjoyable to maintain. However, a more unhealthy meal for me is generally when I go out for dinner and choose whatever I feel like on the menu, whether that happens to be sushi, deep-fried calamari, or pizza!

What are the two words that best sum up Nadine du Toit (a.k.a Glory Girl Fit)? Fitness fanatic. Seriously, this lean machine always has a huge smile on her face, even when doing “superman push-ups” or performing high-intensity skipping sessions on the beach. The brains behind GloryGirl Fitness, a program that combines bespoke nutrition and training to help women achieve their body goals, she fuses fun with fitness in an account that guarantees to get you off the couch and ready to sweat it out.

What’s your favorite workout in Dubai?
Anything that entails being outdoors, either a beach run at sunrise and a sea swim or a calisthenics workout in nature at sunset.

What are three things we’ll always find in your fridge?
Cream (I love putting cream in my coffee), lemons (I add lemon juice to everything), and butter (which I use to cook all my food). Oh, and all the green veggies you can think of!

What’s your go-to cheat meal?
I prefer to use the term “fun foods” because cheating has such a negative connotation. My favorite fun foods are freshly baked bread with butter, the caramel cronuts at Tom & Serg, a mix of caramel and cheese popcorn when I go to the movies, super cheesy pizza, any chocolate as long as it’s chocolate… Shall I go on?
