From short hair to long locks, bangs to beach waves, and minimal makeup to gorgeous glamour, Gigi Hadid always manages to keep us guessing as to what’s next.
In honor of her chameleon-like quality and her 24th birthday, Savoir Flair is taking a look back at her best beauty looks from the past year. So, while the supermodel is blowing out her birthday candles, you can dose up on a big hit of #beautyinspo. You’re welcome.
What better way to celebrate a birthday than with a gorgeously golden beauty look? Teaming mesmerizing metallic makeup with her shimmery Versace gown, Gigi was the ultimate golden girl this time last year.
Gigi’s beauty looks were so extra during her last birthday week, that she made our list twice in just a few days – this time thanks to her deep dark lip, beautifully bronzed skin, and twisted bun updo.
A wash of lilac and silver shimmer accented with golden tears ensured Hadid looked heavenly as ever on the 2018 Met Gala red carpet. Not only did this fit the ‘Heavenly Bodies’ theme perfectly, it also made for one of the most breathtaking beauty looks of the night.
Three words to sum up this look? Pure pink perfection. Matching her makeup to her highlighter-pink dress, Gigi braved a bright hue all over eyes, offsetting it with subtly bronzed skin and a nude lip.
For a sophisticated evening look with a modern touch, Hadid was our beauty muse with this cool combination. Teaming pushed-back, natural locks with a velvety muted lip, radiant skin, and shimmery eyes, she dazzled like her Messika diamond jewels.
If you ever needed the inspiration to go nude, this is it. Looking effortless and elegant with dewy skin, a creamy light lip, and a slick of peachy bronzer – Gigi proved that you don’t need color or dramatic shapes to stand out on the red carpet. Especially when you add a seriously slick chignon updo.
For this look, Gigi made her red lip a bright and matte one, perfectly matching the colorful splashes on her Moschino jacket. Patrick Ta ensured that her pout popped by keeping the rest of her makeup on the minimal side – with just a touch of gold to bring out her eyes. Hairstylist Laura Polko, meanwhile, swept her hair up into a textured, effortless pony.
Look a little closer, and you’ll see that here, Gigi Hadid opted for dark brown – not black – liner to create her cat-eye. Not only does this make for a slightly softer effect, but it also helps bring out the supermodel’s beautiful blue-green eyes. Teamed with an elegant updo and dazzling Chopard diamonds, she shone like the jewels she wore on the red carpet.
Hadid was far from mellow yellow when she brought sunshine to the streets of Paris with this bright beauty look. Patrick Ta used a touch of lemon-yellow shadow on the inner corners of her eyes (which also made her light peepers pop) to match her makeup to her outfit, while Jennifer Yepez created beachy waves with a little yellow flower to boot.
Nothing beats a beautiful pop of blush and a berry pink lip, especially when teamed with winged, fluttery lashes and a sleek chignon. We particularly love the pop of highlighter Ta used on the inside of Gigi’s eyes to make them look bigger and brighter.
