Fall 2017 is set to be a season marked red in the calendars of makeup mavens all around the world. The Kendo division of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton announced today that is has signed a deal with megastar Rihanna for a complete makeup collection — which probably comes as the best beauty news we have heard all month.

LVMH also revealed that the makeup range will be named Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, and is set to launch in the fall of 2017. LVMH’s Sephora will be the main retailer for the brand, but the company assures that countries without Sephora outlets will also be reached through other outposts.

Further details aren’t available just yet, but stay tuned as LVMH has big plans for the new launch.

“Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience,” David Suliteanu, Chief Executive Officer of Kendo, was reported as saying. “We are aiming for the stars.”

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna will come as the third color cosmetics project of Kendo, following Kat Von D Beauty and Marc Jacobs Beauty. Supreme quality is already guaranteed, as well as a good dose of trendsetting coolness — perfectly in tune with Rihanna herself. Makeup bags at the ready.
