For those in the know, Meryll Rogge is no newcomer to the fashion scene. This rising Belgian designer has been making waves behind the scenes for years, but for those who haven't had the pleasure of discovering her yet, allow us to introduce you to our new fashion favorite. Rogge's journey began in 2008 when she joined Marc Jacobs as a fresh graduate, proving her skills over an impressive seven-year stint. From there, she made the move to Dries Van Noten, where she quickly ascended to the role of head of womenswear. It's no surprise that her talent caught the eye of the LVMH prize judges, earning her a spot as a semifinalist in 2022.

But Rogge's resume doesn't stop there. She even had a hand in the iconic Christian Lacroix and Dries Van Noten Spring/Summer 2020 collection before finally taking the plunge and launching her own brand in 2021. And if you thought her fashion credentials were impressive, wait until you hear this: she also holds a law degree and a diploma from the prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Talk about a triple threat.

So, what sets Rogge apart from the rest? Her signature style is all about playing with proportions and embracing both traditional masculine and feminine shapes. She strikes a delicate balance with ease, creating pieces that are both avant-garde and wearable.

And it seems the fashion world is taking notice. Style icons like Rihanna, Dua Lipa, and Hailey Bieber have all been spotted rocking Rogge's designs, cementing her status as a force to be reckoned with.

As for what the future holds, we have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of Meryll Rogge. Might she even be in line to take over the helm at Dries Van Noten? Only time will tell. One thing's for sure: this Belgian prodigy is just getting started, and we can't wait to see where her fashion journey takes her next.
