In the embrace of the tranquil Saadiyat Island, the St. Regis Hotel in Abu Dhabi stands as a symbol of unparalleled luxury and refined elegance.

One of the longest-operating hotels in our nation’s capital, St Regis Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi first opened its doors in 2011 and has been one of the crown jewels of the UAE’s hospitality scene ever since. This masterpiece, a part of Abu Dhabi's ambitious vision, merges the grandeur of its surroundings with the timeless elegance synonymous with the St. Regis brand.

As you approach the St. Regis Saadiyat, the hotel's striking architecture, a seamless fusion of modern design with Arabesque flourishes, promises an experience beyond the ordinary. The drive through lush landscapes leads to a grand porte-cochère, where guests are greeted with the warmth and hospitality that the Middle East is renowned for. But it’s inside where the true excitement begins.

Room With A View

The St. Regis Saadiyat Island boasts a range of rooms and suites, each a sanctuary of comfort and luxury. The rooms, washed in soothing colors and plush furnishings, offer breathtaking views of the turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf or the meticulously landscaped gardens. The decor in each room is a thoughtful blend of contemporary style and traditional elements, featuring state-of-the-art technology and expansive windows that offer mesmerizing views of the Gulf or the hotel's lush gardens.

The suites, particularly the Royal Suite, are a testament to luxury living. Spanning a vast area, the suite includes a private cinema, a games room, and a sprawling terrace with panoramic views. The legendary St. Regis Butler Service, available in all rooms, offers a level of personalized attention that is both rare and gratifying.

Food Matters

The culinary experiences at St. Regis Saadiyat Island are a celebration of global flavors. Each restaurant offers a unique dining experience. Feast on delicious Greek finery at the gorgeous Mazi restaurant on the ground level where sharing plates means fighting for the very last swipe and scrap of its incredible courses – like garlic-y Tzatziki, smokey Melitzanosalata, authentic Greek salads, savory meatballs (just like grandma used to make), and wildly delicious Octopus.

Meanwhile, Buddha Bar is a great after-hours spot right by the crashing ocean where the sea air mixes divinely with fresh sushi, tangy ceviche, and lightly fried dumplings. Finally, Oléa is where immense Mediterranean-style buffets are spread for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and where you can arrange your plate to suit your palate over and over again.

The Iridium Spa at the St. Regis Saadiyat is a sanctuary of wellness. With treatments that blend ancient traditions with modern techniques, the spa provides a holistic experience that rejuvenates both body and mind. But the spa experience you can find in your suite's bathroom is also not-to-be-missed. With a standalone tub overlooking the scenic ocean, it offers private relaxation with seriously stunning views that put your mind right at ease.

The hotel also boasts an array of recreational facilities, including tennis courts and multiple swimming pools, ensuring that guests have myriad ways to unwind and indulge. Golf enthusiasts will find the nearby Saadiyat Beach Golf Club an exceptional venue. The course, designed by the legendary Gary Player, offers a challenging yet beautiful golfing experience with stunning views of the Gulf's turquoise waters.

One of our favorite ways to relax is down by the beach or at the adult pool, where unparalleled service sees to your every need as you take in the beauty of the Arabian Gulf and soak in the sun (while slathered in SPF 50, of course).

Location, Location, Location

Although it's hard to tear oneself away from this magical hotel, there is plenty to see and do beyond its doors. Strategically positioned along a private section of coast on Saadiyat Island, St. Regis feels remarkably intimate and operates like its own village, meaning you never have to leave the premises to find what you need. However, if it's adventure you seek, Abu Dhabi is filled with cultural activities like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Grand Mosque, making this a getaway that also enriches the soul and enlivens the mind.
