Join the exploration of 'Transparencies' in art at the Richard Mille Art Prize, both onsite and online.

Embark on an immersive journey through the world of contemporary art at the 2023 Richard Mille Art Prize at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. While the exhibition unfolded beneath the museum's intricate floating dome of light and shade, inviting play with shadows, liquid reflections, and flashes of sunlight, we invite you to experience it through the Virtual Exhibition from the comfort of your own space.

This latest edition of the Richard Mille Art Prize invited artists from across the region to design new sculptures and installations exploring the dynamics of ‘Transparencies’ – according to both its literal and figurative significance. An esteemed international jury handpicked eight finalists, each tasked with exploring the nuanced theme through their unique creative lenses.

Every year, the Art Prize attracts significant interest, drawing applications from a wide array of artists throughout the region. The talented artists — Sawsan and Bahar Al Bahar, Zahrah Al Ghamdi, Hashel Al Lamki, Farah Behbehani, Sarah Brahim, Alaa Tarabzouni, and Nabla Yahya — have left an impeccable impact with their distinctive and imaginative works.

Through the Virtual Exhibition, you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in their creations, exploring the intricate details and thought-provoking concepts behind each piece. From Al Lamki's exploration of pigments to Behbehani's reinterpretation of historical narratives, each artwork offers a unique perspective on this year’s theme.
