A new breed of trend-setting fashion labels has harnessed a cult following of style-conscious women.

Danish fashion designer Cecilie Bahnsen has gained quite the following thanks to her instantly recognizable oversized silhouettes, which have become synonymous with Scandinavian fashion. A Copenhagen native, Bahnsen has seen her eponymous brand grow in parallel with the increasing success of Copenhagen Fashion Week and the chic, minimalistic designs it provides. Bahnsen's label comprises playful feminine silhouettes that can be paired perfectly with chunky sandals or this season's must-have sneakers.

article DEL CORE

Founded in 2020 by German designer Daniel Del Core, this relatively new Milan-based brand has already made quite an impact. Del Core's collections offer a glimpse into an imaginary world where glamor, fantasy cinema, nature, and modern architecture collide, all brought together through the finest Italian craftsmanship. Del Core has been presenting his collections at Milan Fashion Week since 2021, and the brand has already attracted the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Helen Mirren, and Amal Clooney. The best is undoubtedly yet to come for this bold and empowering brand.

Founder and designer Audrey Tasiaux's journey from International Politics to sustainable luxury gave birth to fashion label Diana d'Orville. Named after her chic grandmother, the brand embodies French craftsmanship, freedom of movement, and refined extravagance.

Founded in 2020, Diana d'Orville sponsors reforestation and women-led farming programs in Africa. Integrated into prestigious fashion institutions, the brand showcases a commitment to social and environmental responsibility. Sustainability is paramount, from material selection to supporting traditional savoir-faire and local production. Inspired by the South of France, each piece, handcrafted in the Parisian atelier, is a limited-edition Wearable Objet d'Art.

article GANNI

Established in 2000, Danish fashion brand GANNI has been on quite the journey since its beginnings. Initially founded by Copenhagen gallerist Frans Truelsen, it was focused on creating the perfect cashmere sweater. In 2009, GANNI was acquired by husband-and-wife duo Nicolaj and Ditte Reffstrup, who have scaled the company into what it is today: Affordable luxury with a Scandinavian twist. With a focus on contemporary ready-to-wear, the brand has moved away from its roots of minimal Danish style, adding pops of color and a feminine twist to the brand's designs. It combines comfort and simplicity with a playful side, creating a chic street-style aesthetic that has become hugely popular worldwide.

article NANUSHKA

Founded in Budapest, Hungary, by Sandra Sándor, Nanushka combines traditional craftsmanship with responsible production and an innovative spirit. The collections for men and women pay homage to the Hungarian native's heritage by juxtaposing traditional techniques and contemporary silhouettes. Each piece is designed with a function in mind, following the brand's ethos: "If a garment is designed to function well, it will, by definition, be beautiful." Each piece is created using materials chosen for their low-impact credentials to ensure they have a minimal impact on the planet and present a fluid, sustainable wardrobe informed by heritage and innovation.

article POLENE

Family-founded French accessories brand Polène creates chic leather goods from its Paris studio and Spain-based atelier. Using fine leather sourced exclusively in Spanish and Italian-certified tanneries, the brand has found a niche, creating sculpted organic shapes from buttery soft leather, using a unique technique developed by the company's artisans. Leather bags are created in soft-edged organic shapes via a process of folding, draping, or weaving. The bags are reasonably priced, starting at around AED1,065, but the quality and craftsmanship are unmatched.

article RIXO

Heading to The British Isles, London-based womenswear brand Rixo has become particularly popular with celebrities and influencers. Founded in 2015 by University students Henrietta and Orlagh, Rixo was born from the duo's love of vintage clothing. Inspired by vintage prints and silhouettes, the brand's collections have a retro feel, redeveloped for today's woman — hand-painted prints and luxe materials are combined to offer an elevated twist on traditional vintage garments.

article SEZANE

Sézane was founded six years ago by French vintage fashion admirer Morgane Sézalory. Her design journey began by customizing clothes for her little sister before she realized she wanted to take her passion to the next level. Today, Sézane has become a must-have for the well-dressed Parisian woman, and its popularity is spreading across the globe. The brand's collections consist of "effortlessly chic" French-inspired women's clothing and accessories, reinventing the basics of the feminine wardrobe.
