With Moda Operandi sponsoring the Met Gala 2013 and Beyoncé Knowles as honorary chairwoman of the event, we had very high hopes for this year's gala. And we weren't disappointed. The world's most influential film, music, and fashion personalities were in attendance to celebrate the launch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's yearly Costume Institute exhibit. This year, the exhibit, entitled 'Punk: Chaos to Couture', is a nod to the punk era of the 70s and 80s with both original punk garments and modern takes on display.
Among some of the best dressed celebrities present, Sarah Jessica Parker wore a printed Giles gown with a fittingly extravagant, feathered headpiece, and Anne Hathaway debuted a blond crop in a vintage mesh-and-sequin number from Valentino. Chairwoman Beyoncé looked her fiery self in a baroque Givenchy flame-colored gown, while supermodel Gisele Bündchen showed off her perfect pins in an Anthony Vacccarello dress.
