Step inside the world of Louis Vuitton - Marc Jacobs, an exhibit in Paris honoring Louis Vuitton, founder of the house of Louis Vuitton in 1854, and Marc Jacobs, its artistic director since 1997. Designed by Gainsbury and Bennett, the fascinating retrospective takes place over two floors; the first showcasing the house’s legendary trunks and the second retracing Jacobs’ work over the last 15 years at Vuitton. It’s a story of fashion, a story of parallel universes, one beginning with nineteenth-century industrialization and the other culminating in twenty-first century globalization.
