Farhad Moshiri for Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton has extended an invitation to the Middle East by inviting a collaboration with renowned Iranian artist, Farhad Moshiri.
Moshiri was commissioned by LV to create four window displays for each of their UAE stores. Each wall tells a different story, each employing a different stylistic approach. For instance, one wall comes in Moshiri’s famous neo-pop style which looks, at a distance, like a Lichtenstein-esque pointillism piece, splayed with the words “Top of the World”. Up close, each point is made of a colorful plastic pearl.
This is worth a look in person, but if you’re intent on seeing these masterful works in the flesh, you’ll have to travel to four malls. “Frosting Stories” is in LV at the Abu Dhabi Marina Mall, “Top of the World” is in LV at the Dubai Mall, “Once Upon a Time” is in LV at the Mall of the Emirates, and “Writing in Waterfalls” is in LV at the Burjuman Mall. Make a day of it and stop by for a look at what is, essentially, exquisite artwork worthy of a museum.
