Best Dressed: Week of 06/08
The 2010 CFDA Awards and MTV’s annual Movie Awards brought out highly opposing red carpet attire this week.
On the one hand, New York’s tribute to the industry’s finest brought out many a fashion-forward designer, model, and influential celeb at the CFDAs in off-the-runway dresses and avant-garde accessories. On the other hand, MTV’s highly popular awards ceremony – celebrating the best in movies for the year – brought out the masses in fun mini frocks and more laidback L.A. styles that have become the signature look of the annual event. Either way, we’re loving the red carpet attendees of this week, and will look to this high-low mix of outfits when creating our own ensembles for the next seven days.
