Label du Jour
Mandy Coon
New York-based label Mandy Coon’s hotly anticipated sophomore collection gets our seal of approval as the fashion world’s latest label du jour.
This DJ-turned-designer’s eponymous line epitomizes exactly the style we want for FW10: edgy, structural separates – like a light-as-air asymmetric dress or cool leather tee – worked mostly in blacks and neutrals. As if her amazing pieces weren’t enough, her fall lookbook gets extra credit for being modeled by the name on everyone’s lips, Jamie Bochert.
