Chanel Paris-Bombay Metiers d’Art Collection
As if Karl Lagerfeld didn’t have enough on his plate, he’s gone and designed a very special Paris-Bombay Metiers d’Art collection that was released last week.
This monsoon wedding themed show featured a regal repast as banquet tables lined the runway covered in baubles and other finery. Models walked to a Bombay-themed soundtrack, decked out in a cultural mash-up of Parisian classics stretched to the utter limits of modernity and a heaping dose of South Asian influenced details and décor.
