The Making of Marc Jacobs' Iconic Bags

When a bag becomes popular, or given the status of “It Bag”, it is hard to think of the process it must go through to arrive on store shelves. When it comes to Marc Jacobs' iconic bags, for instance, you will be truly astonished to see the care that goes into the making of just one bag. The hides are hand-selected and dyed, tested for quality control, cut by hand, stitched, and assembled by a very small team of Italian artisans.
